Missy

Missy Marquette began dancing at the tender age of 3.  Studying ballet at Miss Cassandra’s, she developed a sweet taste of dance.  Her hunger grew for more at D&D Dance Studio in Toledo, Ohio.  There she studied tap which soon became her favorite form of dance.  After a family move to Findlay, Ohio, Missy began her 8 year run at Becky’s School of Dance studying tap, jazz, and lyrical.  At age 15 she was asked to begin teaching there!  She used her talents through high school choreographing the school plays and musicals.  She attended the University of Akron and received a BA in Dance Performance with a concentration in Dance History and Dance Education.  Missy performed with the U of A Touring Ensemble and Repertory Dance Company at Akron U.  She choreographed for numerous show choirs in the area and worked with local high schools on their play and musicals.  She loves running Marquette School of Dance!  “It’s a dream come true to be able to share my love for dance with these children!”  Missy currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with her husband Ben and daughter Maya.  She enjoys scrap booking, cooking, hiking and shopping for baby clothes for Maya!

Molly

Molly has spent most of her life in the spotlight as a gymnast since the age of 3, dancer since age 8, and cheerleader since 9.  Molly began her gymnastic training at Gymnastics of Ohio in Canton.  She went on to train at West Side Gymnastics in Copley and Flytz (then the YWCA in Kent).  Molly was sent to her first jazz class at Dance Works Dance Studio in Cuyahoga Falls where she soon went on to study tap, modern, and hip hop as well.  Molly eventually became part of the Dance Works dance team where she danced in many competitions and at local events.  During her run as a Cuyahoga Falls High School Cheerleader Molly won numerous individual awards, such as, Americheer and NCA All-American, COA National qualifier, and named All-around Best Cheerleader at local competitions.  Molly was also a member of the Northeast Ohio All-Stars, which earned her a 1st place national team title in Orlando, Florida during her senior year.  Throughout high school Molly used her talent to choreograph for many area high school teams as well as judge for competitions and tryouts.  She continues to do so to this day.  After high school Molly went on to become part of the Kent State University cheerleading squad.  Molly has also gone on to coach gymnastics at Flytz in Cuyahoga Falls and the 9th grade cheerleading squad at Cuyahoga Falls High School.  After looking at The University of Akron’s Dance Program Molly decided to make a change and transfer.  She is now concentrating on graduating with a BA in dance performance.  Molly studies jazz, tap, modern, and ballet everyday as well as her academic classes at the U of A.  This is Molly’s 5th year teaching at Marquette School of Dance and is very honored to be head teacher of the performance team.  Molly also loves to attend dance conventions to keep up on the latest choreography.

Jess

Jess Kostoff started dancing at the age of 3.  Dreaming of being a ballerina and dancing around the house, her mother put her into an intro ballet class.  She began at Christine Jones Meneer School of Dance in Munroe Falls.   After receiving her fifth year trophy, she wanted to try something different.  Jess tried out for Tallmadge Youth Cheerleading and made it. She cheered and danced for the Tallmadge youth football games for two years.  Along with dance and cheerleading she studied gymnastics at the Kent YMCA for three years.  Missing dance she began jazz at Carole Cain Dance School.  This is where she began to love dance again and knew that it was what she wanted to do the rest of her life.  Before no time, she was taking jazz, tap, lyrical, and ballet.  She became an assistant teacher and met Missy Marquette, who then offered her the job to teach when it switched to Marquette School of Dance.  Jess graduated in May 2007 from the University of Akron with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Dance.  Jess is now honored to be the Assistant Director of the dance studio.   She resides in Green with her husband Nick and step-daughter Kirsten.

Steph

This September marks Stephanie Eader's 20th year of being a part of the wonderful world of dance. At age ten she was selected to be a part of a hip hop group called Young Premiere where she met Miss Molly and became forever friends. Since then she has belonged to various organizations such as the Danceworks Danceteam, the Cuyahoga Falls High School Dance Team, the D.I.S. breakdancing crew, and Tracy's Model's Dance Team. In addition to this she was also a cheerleader since the age of eleven participating with Cuyahoga Falls and the Northeast Ohio All-Stars. As both a cheerleader and dancer she has competed at regional state and even the national level. After attending clinics for the Towson University cheerleading squad she decided being a cheerleader was a part of her past. Post high school she has choreographed and judged tryouts for schools such as Norton High School, Coventry High School and Junior High, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Woodridge High School, and Cuyahoga Falls High both cheerleading and dance. In addition to joining the team at Marquette School of Dance, she is also currently working in the marketing department of Bank of America and a full time student with The University of Phoenix as an accounting major. She just finished her commitment with the Ohio Army National Guard where she spent time in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Stephanie is excited to return to Marquette for her third year of teaching.
